Knittery
Femke Jurrissen is a maker with a fascination for tools, let it be physical tools (penplotters, knitting machines) or digital tools (scripts, plugins, softwares). Her work most of the times evolves around the exploration of a certain tool. Within this explorative attitude, she likes to question and surpass a tool its limitations. In order to do so her approach has a very hacky / DIY attitude. This attitude also makes her find joy in seeking for lifehacks wherever she can. Femke has been able to develop her interests further when doing her internship at Open Source Publishing in Brussels, where she actually got infected with a passion for old penplotters.
